Neodymium: The rare element with extraordinary magnetic force

Neodymium is a chemical element with the symbol Nd and atomic number 60. It belongs to the group of so-called rare earth elements and is one of the most important materials for the production of high-performance magnets. Neodymium was first discovered in 1885 by Austrian chemist Carl Auer von Welsbach and is known for its exceptional magnetic properties in alloys.
