Neodymium magnetic tape - extremely strong magnetic tape

Here you will find EXTREMELY strong neodymium magnetic tape that is 4x as strong as conventional magnetic tape made of ferrite. With this tape, you can also attach heavy objects magnetically. The tape is very popular for fasteners, e.g. for fly screens on patio or balcony doors. Due to its significantly higher magnetic force, it is also often used for attaching pictures or posters. Thanks to the simple opening and closing, the picture can be changed quickly without being damaged. You can find cut-to-size pieces from 1 metre or rolls of up to 10 metres, depending on your requirements.

Self-adhesive neodymium magnetic tape

Very strong magnetic tape: The neodymium magnetic tape is not comparable to conventional magnetic tape. It is a new development that has not been around for very long. This tape uses NdFeB (neodymium), as is known from extremely strong super magnets. This material is incorporated into a plastic compound to create an extremely strong and flexible magnetic tape with a very high magnetic force. The adhesive force is approx. 415 g/cm², which is approximately 4-5 times that of a conventional magnetic tape. However, it should be noted that the force of a neodymium magnet of a similar size is still significantly stronger.

The application of neodymium magnetic tape is simple and straightforward:

Prepare the surface: Make sure that the adhesive surface is clean and dry.
Cut the magnetic tape: Cut the magnetic tape to the desired length. Use scissors or a sharp knife to do this.
Applying: Remove the protective film from the adhesive side of the magnetic tape and press it firmly onto the prepared adhesive surface. For a magnetic strip without adhesive strips on the back, you can attach the magnetic tape directly to the metal surface
Attach the counterpart: Place the object to be attached or the counterpart on the magnetic tape.

Price-performance ratio

Neodymium magnetic tape offers an excellent price-performance ratio. Despite the higher purchase costs compared to ferrite magnets, it impresses with its superior adhesive force and durability. When purchasing, you should pay attention to the correct dimensions and holding force of the magnetic tape to ensure that it meets your requirements.

What applications is neodymium magnetic tape suitable for?

Neodymium tape can even be used to hang heavier objects that could not be attached with conventional ferrite tape. It is important that the surface is smooth so that the magnetic tape is in full contact in order to develop its strength.

Frequent applications include:

- Seasonal attachment of decorations (e.g. seasonal decorations, advent calendars, monthly plans, etc.)
- Temporary attachment of signs (e.g. shop door, shop window or in the shop window). shop door, shop window or in the office)
- Closure of bags etc.
- Production of your own decorative magnets (you can make almost anything magnetic with this)

Types of neodymium magnetic tape

The neodymium tape is available from us both as a self-adhesive version with high-quality 3M adhesive tape and as a non-self-adhesive version. The following adhesive is suitable for attaching the non-self-adhesive magnetic tape: UHU Max Repair (top recommendation as a magnetic adhesive) For a full-surface application, we recommend the magnetic foil in DIN-A4.

Our range includes not only strong super magnets with up to 1.2 tonnes of holding force but also neodymium magnets with 1.0 mm Ø for delicate applications.

Notes:
The neodymium magnetic tape is flexible but must not be bent completely, otherwise it may break. This tape can be cut to size with ordinary household scissors. Please do not attach neodymium magnets to the magnetic tape. This can demagnetise the tape. Instead, use e.g. the metal tape / ferro tape

as an adhesive base for neodymium magnets."
