You can easily visualise magnetic fields with iron filings, making the topic of magnets very exciting in the classroom. We recommend placing a sheet of paper or a sheet of plastic / glass between the iron filings and the magnet. This makes it very easy to separate the shavings from the magnet and reuse them.

Important note: Do not bring the powder into contact with the eyes!
