Which magnets do I use for magnetic glass boards?

We are often asked which magnets are best suited for magnetic glass boards. It is important to know that magnets on magnetic glass boards can only develop a fraction of their actual force, as they have to work through the glass plate. For this reason, we recommend using strong magnets to securely attach objects to such boards.
It is important to note that the absolute holding force of the magnets is not the decisive factor when it comes to the distance (the glass is a spacer between the magnet and the metal). The magnets require a certain thickness in order to achieve sufficient magnetic holding force at the distance.
