Here you will find our pot magnets with threaded bush and screwed-in hook. The magnets can be immediately "attached" to a metal base and hung on the hook. Very popular both in metrology and privately, for example to hang up flower pots. Magnets are mainly used to temporarily attach materials or objects so that no residue is left behind.
With us, you have the choice between nickel-plated (silver-coloured) hook magnets, as well as black or white hook magnets in various sizes. The coloured hook magnets are powder-coated and therefore have a high-quality colour. The white hook magnets are ideal for attaching to light-coloured ceilings and walls, where they are very discreet.
Hook magnets are pot magnets with a threaded bush into which a hook is screwed. Thanks to the extreme adhesive force of the neodymium pot magnets used, even very heavy objects can be hung up with hook magnets. The hook magnets are very popular in workshops, for magnetic pin boards and for hanging objects on metal objects.
Please note that the specified holding forces of the hook magnets are the force in the pulling direction. This is particularly relevant for attaching to the ceiling, as the suspended object adheres to the hook magnet in the pulling direction.
The displacement force in the shear direction, on the other hand, is significantly lower and also depends on the surface of the counterpart, among other things. As a rule of thumb, you can roughly say that the force in the shear direction corresponds to about 1/5 of the force in the pulling direction.
You can increase the displacement force by increasing the resistance, e.g. by placing a thin rubber between the magnet and the counterpart.
