The special feature of neodymium pot magnets with a hole and countersink is that they have a hole in the centre including a countersink. This allows you to screw the magnet to the desired material, the ceiling or even the wall or a furniture door using a countersunk screw. Metal objects stick to the neodymium pot magnet. The steel pot increases the magnetic force of the pot magnet enormously. The magnet is also protected from damage by the steel pot. Alternatively, you can also find screw-on neodymium magnets in our shop
Maximum adhesive force: When placed directly on a ferromagnetic object, the pot magnet develops a particularly high adhesive force due to the steel coating. The holding force is greatly reduced if the magnet is placed at a distance from the metal object. Even coating the object can significantly reduce the adhesive force.
Please note that neodymium magnets are a relatively brittle material that can break when subjected to greater force.
We therefore recommend a maximum tightening torque of 2Nm for screwing these magnets.
