What are the advantages of ferrite pot magnets?

Ferrite pot magnets are significantly cheaper than neodymium pot magnets, but also somewhat weaker. Due to the steel pot, ferrite pot magnets can still achieve high holding forces.
Furthermore, the ferrite variant is also suitable for higher temperatures of up to 200°C and is therefore popular in chimney and oven construction.

Another advantage of ferrite magnets is that they are a ceramic material that is rustproof. This means that ferrite pot magnets can also be used outdoors.
