Customised products

Are customised magnets possible?

In general, yes! Regardless of whether you need neodymium magnets, ferrite magnets or magnetic tape / neodymium magnetic tape as a customised product or custom cut.

You are welcome to contact us by e-mail with the dimensions.

If customised products go beyond the standard specifications such as length/height/width of the magnets, e.g. if they include countersunk holes, threads or similar, it would be advisable to enclose a technical drawing in order to receive a suitable offer as quickly as possible.

Please note for custom-made magnets:

Custom-made magnets are also possible for small quantities, but are of course significantly more expensive per piece. Therefore, a minimum order value of at least €150 should be assumed for any fixed costs incurred (production planning, possible mould production, logistics, etc.)
Custom-made magnets are always associated with a greater time expenditure. Depending on the urgency, we will also be happy to quote you a price for express delivery of the magnets. However, you should allow at least 4 weeks.

What information do we need for a quote for a customised magnet?

Minimum information:

  • Material (neodymium, ferrite)
  • Shape (disc magnet, ring magnet, block magnet, cube magnet, sphere magnet, etc.).)
  • All edge lengths/diameters/inside hole dimensions for rings
  • Magnetisation of the magnets (axial magnetisation is standard) and magnetisation grade N45

Special requests for magnets?
  • Temperature resistance (for neodymium magnets, 80 degrees Celsius is "standard" - resistance up to 150 degrees Celsius is possible; ferrite magnets are temperature-resistant up to 250 degrees Celsius.
  • Sink holes for screwing on the magnets? If possible, please attach a technical drawing to the enquiry
  • Coating (standard is nickel plating of neodymium magnets. However, it is also possible to gold-plate neodymium magnets, coat them with Teflon or finish them with an epoxy resin coating.
