Block magnet made of ferrite 12x12x10 mm, holds 600g

Our small ferrite magnet in cuboid shape with the dimensions 12x12mm, a height of 10mm and a permanent adhesive force of 600 g offers somewhat more possibilities for practical and creative applications. Here are some ideas of what you can do with it:

  • Wrench or tool holder: Attach the magnet to a shelf or wall to safely store lightweight keys or small tools such as screwdrivers or screws.

  • Kitchen helper: Use it to attach small kitchen utensils such as spoons, measuring spoons or small kitchen knives to a metal surface.

  • Cable holder: Use the magnet to attach and guide charging cables and USB cables on your desk so they don't fall off.

  • DIY magnetic fasteners for lightweight boxes and containers: The magnet is strong enough to keep small containers securely closed, e.g. homemade tins or boxes.

  • Mini cupboard magnet: Use as a fastener for lightweight cabinets, doors or drawers, especially in DIY furniture projects.

  • Holder for kitchen scissors or other lightweight cutting tools: The magnet is able to hold lightweight metal scissors or other small cutting tools, especially handy in the kitchen or workshop.

  • Craft projects and miniature landscapes: In modelling or diorama projects, the magnet can hold smaller objects in place and also make small parts interchangeable, for example as a connection between two components.

  • Lightweight magnetic board decoration: On a magnetic board or metal surface, you can use it to attach decorative objects, key rings or other smaller, decorative items.

  • Magnetic button fastener for bags or cases: The magnet is suitable as a fastener for homemade bags or cases to keep lighter items secure.

  • Experiment and teach: The slightly stronger adhesive force opens up opportunities to demonstrate magnetism in small experiments or to use as teaching material.

  • With an adhesive force of 600 g, the magnet is not extremely strong, but is suitable for many practical household and hobby applications. Unlike neodymium magnets, ferrite magnets are not coated and are therefore a cost-effective alternative.
